My Party Lace Wrap is ready for its big reveal.
That's right, the knitting is completed, the ends all woven in, its been blocked, photographed and published, complete with blocking instructions and a photo tutorial. Whew!
Party Lace Wrap and Scarf is an elegant lace pattern with a distinctive shifting chevron pattern. Below are the finished sizes and the yardage needed.
Available sizes and yardage needed:
- Scarf 11” x 98” blocked, 9.5” x 76” unblocked. Requires 742 yards
- Wrap 20” x 98” blocked, 16” x 76 unblocked. Requires 1248 yards
- Extra-Wide Wrap 26” x 98” blocked, 20” x 76” unblocked. Requires 1600 yards
It's knit in a laceweight yarn, however it can be knit in any weight by changing the needle size accordingly. The model is knit in one of my very favorite laceweight yarns, Fiber Optic Yarns 100% Superwash Merino Laceweight in color Raspberry. The Superwash Merino is crisp, offers excellent stitch definition and hold its block beautifully.
The pattern is available for purchase on Ravelry.com and LoveKnitting.com.
