TNNA (The National Needlearts Association) holds markets twice a year for Local Yarn Shops to fill their shelves with new yarns, needles and notions. Classes, a fashion show, a luncheon, market trend savvy speakers and new products previews also abound. Its a jammed packed 5 days.
What could be better? Right?
Oh!!! Did I mention that Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream Shop is only a block away from the Convention Center/Hotel....OK...now that is better!!!!
Getting there.....Packing is fairly straight forward.....don't forget the comfy shoes (lots of walking and standing)....don't forget the camera (insiders peak of lots of new and upcoming products)
But the bigger question is what knitting projects to pack. I always seem to overpack OR have serious visions of grandeur on how much knitting time I can get in OR a serious fear of "what if I finish everything" and then being left with nothing to knit. PANIC would set in. We can't have that.....
Projects I will take:
- A sock project to do in classes (one mindless project)
- A lace project to work on during luncheons, inbetween times or in the evening as long as I'm not too sleepy. (one thought provoking project) - Will probably bring two, just incase of an OOPS!
- A simpler lace project (middle of the road project)
Will post more next week about all the fab finds......
Happy Travels! Happy Knitting! Happy Travel Knitting!!!!
